Demonstrate your support of the environment by helping us prepare our grounds for the nation’s longest running grassroots event of its kind! This year we are celebrating 31 years of bringing people together to learn about sustainability and clean energy, connect with others, and take action toward a sustainable future. With over 200+ Workshops, 200+ Exhibits, Farm & Garden Tours, Artisan Market, Yoga, Live Music, food and fun all weekend long, we need reliable people to help us ready the grounds in time for the big event!
Tasks will mostly consist of outdoor tasks; however, we can discuss the possibility of indoor work if desired. Typical volunteer tasks include landscaping, clearing brush, painting picnic tables, preparing the MREA garden, and driving our kubota!

Description
MREA leads innovative programs to promote sustainablility and renewable energy in the Midwest. We offer one of the country’s top solar training programs and run one of the largest grassroots sustainability events in the nation. In 1990 we were incorporated as a 501(c)3 non profit after The First Annual Energy Fair. We’re headquartered in Custer, WI with remote offices in Milwaukee, WI and Saint Paul, MN.
We’re always looking for volunteers throughout the year and to help run our Energy Fair taking place in Custer, WI on June 21-23, 2019. We’re an organization that was established by hardworking and enthusiastic volunteers. We hope you’ll join us for some volunteer fun! Shine On-
