- Provide timely response to disasters and assist those affected
- Respond to disaster scenes as assigned by Team Leader within two hours
- Meet the needs of those affected by disasters such as the need for shelter and food by providing Red Cross Services
- Complete forms related to services provided
- Provide referrals to other agencies
- Communicate with Team Leader about availability and readiness on a regular basis
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the American Red Cross
- Be able to follow region/chapter and current Red Cross disaster guidance
*Must be at least 18 years old.
Time Commitment- Choose your availability on an availability and rotation schedule.
- Members are expected to be on call, day or night, during their selected shifts.
- Be a valued member of a Red Cross service that alleviates human suffering
- Enhance personal organizational and leadership skills
