This summer, Miami Children’s Museum will activate our camper’s creativity with hands on learning and experiences. Each week campers will grab their tools, tinker, explore, imagine and create something extraordinary with simple everyday objects. Campers will also enjoy a weekly theatrical performances by our in house theater troupe, participate in outdoor recreational games and activities, work in our tinker lab, cool down mid-week with water slides, and attend field trips to various local attractions. For this very reason, we are looking for energetic individuals to assist in summer camp this year. This fun opportunity is available to those willing to doing things like arts and crafts, classroom clean-up, passing out snacks, and assisting the teachers with whatever they may need.

Summer Camp Dates (Minimum commitment of one full week):

  • June 10th-August 23rd
  • Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-3:30 pm

Please note you must be 16 and up in order to apply.

The Miami Children's Museum is a non-profit educational institution, which meets the needs of all children in our multicultural community. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to play together, learn, imagine and create. The museum offers interactive exhibits, programs, and learning materials related to arts, culture, community and communication.

Founded in 1983, the Miami Children's Museum is dedicated to enriching the lives of all children by fostering a love of learning and enabling children to realize their highest potential. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to play together, learn, imagine and create. Located on Watson Island, the 56,500-square-foot facility includes 14 galleries, classrooms, parent/teacher resource center, Subway restaurant, KidSmart educational gift shop and 200-seat auditorium. The museum offers hundreds of bilingual, interactive exhibits; programs and learning materials related to arts, culture, community and communication.
