ORGANIZATION: Colton Public Library - Luque Branch Library

Do you have two to four hours per week to spend in an adult learning setting? Many adults who fell through the cracks in our educational system are looking for a second chance. Colton Public Library seeks volunteer tutors to work with adults on basic reading, writing and sometimes math. This is a six month commitment, no experience required. All materials are provided free of charge. This is a wonderful way to help someone with their career and educational goals.

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
