- Are you kind and compassionate?
- Do you enjoy meeting new people?
- Do you like helping others?
If this sounds like you, then we may have just the opportunity you've been looking for!
Medi Home Hospice is looking for people like you to join our Hospice Volunteer Team! Our Volunteers offer their time and talents in a number of different ways. Lots of Volunteers enjoy visiting with patients and their families. Some awesome Volunteers prefer to assist us in our office by helping with filing and paperwork. Others enjoy participating in our Special Projects programs by making Comfort Blankets and shawls, greeting cards and teddy bears, and helping with other activities. Whatever your special super-power may be, we'd love to talk to you!
Medi Home Hospice provides end-of-life care for patients who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. As you know, this can be a very difficult time for all involved. Your caring support can mean so much to a patient and their family; and the extra measure of compassionate presence you provide can be so important.
We provide complete training and orientation to the Hospice philosophy of comfort care, and offer on-going educational opportunities. We work with your schedule to provide flexibility with training and activities. We appreciate that you have given your time in service to others. You are a valued component of our program!
Please call with additional questions! We thank you for your interest.
