Variety's iCan Shine Bike Camp is an opportunity for our local community to help riders with special needs learn how to ride a two-wheeled bike for the first time!
We will need volunteers over the age of 15 who can commit to coming to the same one hour and fifteen minute session every day Monday, July 8th - Friday, July 12th at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center in Round Rock, TX.
Sessions will begin at 8:30, 10:05, 11:40, 2:00 & 3:35.
Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes and clothes they are comfortable being active in. There will be a mandatory orientation the Sunday before Bike Camp. Volunteers are asked to arrive 20 minutes early to each session so that they can check in and attend a mandatory 15 minute training for what will be covered that day.

Variety of Texas impacts children with special needs and their families by providing resources and empowering experiences.
Description
Variety- the Children's Charity of Texas is an organization that supports children with special needs in the State of Texas.
We have an adaptive summer camp in Killeen, Texas. Our diagnosis specific camps are brought to us by different community partners and their members.
We have a grant fund for children with special needs/ disabilities. Families can apply for assistance with products or services related to the diagnosis of the child. Children must reside in the state of Texas, be 21 or under and have a diagnosis of a special need/ disability.
We have events in the greater Austin area, including our iCanShine Bike Camp in Round Rock in July of 2019.
