We need your help at the MeXTour Live Fan Fest on June 6-7th at Dallas City Hall!

The free, family-friendly, MexTour Live fan fest will take place at Dallas City Hall Plaza on Friday, June 7th from 3pm-10pm, with a performance by Award-winning Latin singer Luis Coronel who will be joined by current members of the Mexican National Team. The event will also include appearances and autograph sessions by Dallas Cowboys and F.C. Dallas players and legends, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, as well as Mexican National Team legends, local radio personalities, team mascots and soccer freestylers.
Help us in providing value to the Mexican National Team fan base by leveraging the #MexTour platform to merge the gaming culture with the passion for the Mexican National Team, and volunteer with us!

Mission Statement

The Dallas Sports Commission is a non-profit organization whose mission is to attract, retain and support sports and entertainment events that will position Dallas as the premier sports destination and have a positive impact on the economy and quality of life of Dallas residents.

Description

On October, 2014 the Dallas Sports Commission transitioned from the sports marketing department of the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau. Monica Paul was named Executive Director, becoming one of only four women in the country to lead a large-market sports commission. The DSC provides rights holders with first-rate event operations and services as needed for their events.

More than 50 future events resulting in greater than $428 million in economic impact are on the schedule for the Dallas Sports Commission, including NCAA Women's Basketball Regionals, WrestleMania 32 and the inaugural Elite Rodeo Association World Championship in 2016, the 2017 NCAA Women's Final Four and the 2018 NCAA Men's Basketball 1st & 2nd Rounds. National Championships in weightlifting, fencing, volleyball, boxing and cheerleading are also coming to Dallas.

  • Must be at least 18
  • Shifts range from 9 AM- 12 PM, 1 PM-5 PM, or 5 PM- 10 PM. Times may vary.
  • - Volunteers must be 18 years or older. - Volunteers must be able to stand for long periods of time. - Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation and parking - Light snacks and water will be available throughout each shift
