Make Your Summer is an ongoing Exhibits project that encourages kids and adults alike to engage with the processes of making and problem solving, while utilizing found materials, as an avenue to encourage new and expanded ways of thinking about and interacting with the objects and world around them, through imaginative play. This year’s iteration, entitled Make Your World , reinforces some of the successes of last year’s Make Space while expanding the theme to focus on current issues such as the functioning of global biomes and the threat of climate change as a way to spark thought about how we interact with the environments around us and demonstrate ways in which we effect and/or adapt to different climates.

Volunteers would be working a shift throughout the day either 9:45-12:45, 12;45-3:45 OR Wednesdays only 3:45-7:45

While in the exhibit Volunteers will be expected to help or assist any of our guest. But also prompt our guest with questions that may embrace more creativity.
