Best Buddies Ambassadors is a program that provides training for participants with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in areas of speech writing, public speaking, and self-advocacy.
As a speech coach, you would work one on one with a student to create a 2-4 minute speech about how disability and Best Buddies or knowing someone with a disability has affected their life. We provide out line materials and step by step guides for the speeches. Some student need help with spelling or physically writing their speech.
It is a really fun opportunity! Lunch will be provided.
