We are seeking experienced Board Members. The Homeless Coalition of Dallas is a Non Profit Organization that feed the Homeless, help low income families with food, supply emergency food, school supplies etc. Help provide necessary items, basically help the under-served communities. We are in the process of building a strong board, that can help the Organization move forward in a higher direction. We would expect the chosen board members to relate to the Vision and Mission of making a huge impact in the community and in the organization. The member should be have ideas as to how to generate income. Board Member should have an understanding of the fundamental legal duties of each individual board member The selected Board Members should have some experience in being on a Board that can be verified. We are dedicated to improving the quality of life of those in need whether Homeless or Low Income by equipping them with some of the NECESSARY ITEMS and Skills needed for survival. Our goal is to help ensure that the Homeless Singles, Homeless Families, Homeless Children and Homeless Veterans have access to food on a regular basis
Description
Our organization is designed to feed the Homeless and help under privileged families. We live by the standard that everyone deserves to eat and to eat on a regular basis. Transition can mean a complete change of direction or focus, moving from one phase to another. Either way, transition has its own unique challenges that must be identified and addressed if we are to successfully follow God’s plan for our lives. Re-entering into Society is often very difficult and people tend to need a helping Hand-Up and that is what the HOMELESS COALITION OF DALLAS does, we give a "HandUp".
