Do you have an interest in art and a few hours a month to make a huge difference in someone’s life? A fabulous former art teacher living with PLS is South Tampa is requesting help setting up her art supplies twice a month in the afternoon, depending on your schedule.
Becoming a Visiting Volunteer with The ALS Association Florida Chapter is a heartwarming experience. We require potential Visiting Volunteers to complete an online training process including two reference checks, a short phone interview, and a background check. Volunteers assist with simple tasks of everyday living and are not allowed to help with medical or personal care, finances, or transportation.
