NAMI Metro Suburban is seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Board of Directors. Priority will be given to those possessing experience in fundraising, marketing, finance, and mental health advocacy.

About NAMI Metro Suburban: An affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, NAMI Metro Suburban’s mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities affected by mental illness by providing advocacy, support, and education in the western suburbs of Cook County.

Our culture and our vision: We at NAMI Metro Suburban believe that everyone should have access to mental health care to lead full and fulfilling lives. We know that with support, empathy, and understanding, recovery is possible. Serving the west suburbs of Chicago, we are led by staff who have their own journey of mental illness- whether their own, or that of a family member. We work to end mental health stigma, so people and families can get the help they need.
