Haiti-Now is dedicated to empowering Haitian girls living in domestic servitude to overcome poverty and exploitation to achieve economic security.

Role brief: This role supports the fundraising team with identifying and engaging new and existing leads. In doing so, it seeks to attract new funders and/or donors that are passionate and excited about Haiti-Now’s mission and vision.

Responsibilities:

• Convey Haiti-Now’s message to generate leads of potential donors and fundraisers.
• Meet weekly with Marketing team
• Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content
• Optimize our light marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
• Establish closed-loop analytics with fundraising to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into donors, and continually refine our process to convert donors.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Previous experience with customer service, sales, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with potential leads
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Fluent in spoken and written English, able to communicate clearly and consistently
• Reliable internet connection a must
• Minimum volunteer hours expected: 5-10 hrs per week
• Proficiency in all areas of Google Apps such as Drive, Sheets, etc.
• Familiarity with or quick adoption of Trello and Slack tools importan t

When onboarding at Haiti Now your first assignment will be to start a fundraising campaign unless your employer has a matching program for volunteering hours. Haiti Now will provide further guidance for you to have a quick and successful fundraiser.
