Rebuilding Together San Francisco is preserving existing affordable housing right now by repairing hundreds of homes annually. Maintaining and preserving existing housing not only allows current homeowners to remain in their homes, it also enables them to pass safe and healthy homes to their children and grandchildren - allowing a next generation to live affordably in San Francisco.
Rebuilding Together San Francisco (RTSF) is a local affiliate of Rebuilding Together, a national organization that includes 130 affiliates serving communities nationwide and mobilizing thousands of volunteers each year. More information about us can be found at www.rebuildingtogethersf.org.
Join RTSF as a Development Volunteer and learn valuable fundraising skills that are in high demand in the nonprofit sector.
Working under the supervision of the Development Manager, the Development Volunteer will support the development tasks of the organization. The Development Volunteer will join an organization with a dynamic board and staff who are highly dedicated and passionate in creating and accomplishing the mission. We are seeking someone who is self-directed, energetic, and a strong collaborator.
Rebuilding Together San Francisco (RTSF) has an annual budget of $1.3M and a staff of 6 full-time employees.

Description
Rebuilding Together organizes teams of volunteers from business, labor and the community to renovate community facilities serving children, youth, seniors, homeless people and people living with HIV and AIDS and to preserve and repair the homes of low-income, elderly and disabled San Franciscans. Rebuilding Together volunteers work side-by-side with neighbors and beneficiaries in the spirit of an old-fashioned barn raising.
