At RELIANCE HOSPICE we have a need for some bilingual Spanish volunteers. The Coachella Valley has a 97.6 Hispanic population and at times we have patients and families who are monolingual and in need of volunteer assistance. As well as the language issue, there may also be cultural issues that a Spanish speaking volunteer can help to bridge, and assist in bringing comfort during the end of life transition. Please contact us if you feel that you might contribute your skills in volunteering in this very important way!
