Girls on the Run is a self esteem and confidence building program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. The girls learn valuable life lessons while training for a 5K race. The Girls on the Run 5K is the end of the season celebratory event!

To foster healthy, active responsible children through programs and events that address their physical, emotional and spiritual needs and well-being; to collaborate with existing organizations to create such programs and events; and to raise funds to support such programming and similar charities. To support ALS patients and their families.
Description
At Girls on the Run we inspire ALL girls to build confidence and make intentional decisions, while fostering care and compassion for self and others. Trained coaches use physical activity and dynamic discussions to build social, emotional and physical skills in every girl while encouraging healthy habits for life.
