Join our Greenway staff on the Neuse River Trail and help beautify the area! We will be cleaning sections of fencing along the trail.
Volunteer Impact:
By cleaning these fence sections, we will beautify the trail for all who pass through.
Volunteer Duties:
Volunteers will walk along the Neuse River Trail (around three miles) to different fence sections and clean the fencing. We will provide cleaning supplies such as gloves and scrubbing pads.

We will be outside along a paved trail, but there is the possibility for uneven ground. This project will involve quit a bit of walking - about three miles. There is no restroom on site, but it could be a walk/drive to one.

We will supply tools, gloves, snacks, water, sunscreen, bug spray and a first aid kit. Volunteers should wear long sleeves and long pants, as well as dress for the weather. Closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or hiking/work boots is a must.
