ORGANIZATION: GenPride (Generations Aging with Pride)

Job Description and responsibilities:

The individual will provide vision and leadership cooperatively with the manager (Beatrix), assisting in directing and managing the digital asset library. They will steward locally produced content, including media like fliers, marketing material, raw imagery and footage, and visual components. Including organizing structures for digital documents in a sharepoint.

As a future project they will assist in overseeing the digital initiatives unit in digital preservation planning to ensure long-term accessibility of digital assets like oral histories, recorded conversations, and community workshops.

  • Creating/utilizing taxonomy structure, organization of assets, and uploading files to the management systems.
  • Familiarity with creative assets and file types preferred.

Skills preferred:
  • Proficient with computers and windows or unix-like operating systems
  • Strong understanding of asset management systems
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Familiar with creative asset types (psd, mov , tiff, mp4, etc.)
