We will be planting 20 trees across the city of Campbell, California.
Meeting location is 2293 Highland Park Lane, Campbell, California 95008.
If you are volunteering for this event please arrive at the site by 8:45 A.M. to sign in. Planting begins at 9:00 A.M. Bring a reusable water bottle, snacks, and sun/rain protection! Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Closed-toe shoes are required. This is a RAIN or SHINE event! As this is a neighborhood planting, Our City Forest will be shuttling volunteers to residents' homes, where you will be helping to plant a tree with an AmeriCorps member!

About Our City Forest
Location:
1195 Clark St, San Jose, CA 95125, US
Mission Statement
Our mission is to cultivate a green and healthy Silicon Valley by engaging community members in the appreciation, protection, growth and maintenance of our urban ecosystem, especially our urban forest.
Description
The ultimate goal of the program is to facilitate the planting of one million trees in Silicon Valley, utilizing one million people. We have planted over 70,000 trees in San Jose, encouraging community members to join us in improving the environmental conditions of their communities. We focus on making a healthy urban forest accessible to all by offering services targeted towards disadvantaged communities because we believe a healthy environment should be available to all people, not just those who have the resources to access it.
