Waveny LifeCare Network's growing Telemedicine program uses advanced information and communication technologies to manage and increase prevention of chronic conditions, deliver detailed and continuous medical information to healthcare providers and to enable the delivery of optimal care and improve patient safety and connectivity to vital healthcare and in-home resources.
This opportunity would suit a warm and friendly individual with good communication skills, able to handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with HIPAA. Training and supervision will be given. We welcome those seeking to build up their office skills within a medical environment. Volunteers should be 18 years or over and fully vaccinated for Covid.
We are seeking a volunteer to assist the team with several tasks: printing and sending reports to healthcare providers, in office faxing, calls to patients and physicians offices, cleaning telemedicine equipment, assembling educational folders etc.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience of this innovative medical technology alongside healthcare professionals in a trusted community nonprofit committed to increasing access to healthcare for all community members.

Joining forces with Waveny in 2021 VNHFC enabled the Waveny volunteer program to expand to offer opportunities at the New Canaan Thrift Shop and as part of the hospice and bereavement support volunteer team.
