Run a team at our Festival Box Office at AMC UTC of between 3-4 volunteers per shift. You will be trained on the box office system and will then assist making sure the shift volunteers know what to do when they report to you for their first shift. There will always be someone there to assist if you have questions.
If you decide to assist Thur-Sun of fest week, you can assist Wed night if you'd like for opening night at MOPA. Only team leads will be working this first night and it's a great way to train. Ideally we would like you for all four days, but we can split if needed.

Description
Binge Watching for Film Lovers! The San Diego Film Festival is rapidly developing a reputation for premiering blockbuster films right here in San Diego. In 2012 we saw Silver Linings Playbook, Beasts of the Southern Wild and Quartet here long before they became box office hits. In 2013, we premiered 12 Years a Slave, The German, and August: Osage County. And last year it was The Imitation Game and Whiplash, which were honored with four Oscar wins and 11 nominations, plus Wild, Mr. Turner, St. Vincent, The Good Lie, We are looking for hundreds of talented, enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to plan, promote, and produce events and support our guests year-round and during the Festival (October 4-October 8).
