Symphony Surround is an immersive orchestra experience benefitting the California Symphony.The orchestra performs literally surrounding dinner guests-no other professional orchestra engages its patrons this way. All proceeds support the world class musicians of the California Symphony and our world famous education programs.
This year, guests will enjoy a bonus performance under the planetarium dome with projections timed with the music. And as a volunteer, you will have a chance to hear the percussionists' and orchestra's set during the rehearsal after the volunteer training session on Thursday, June 6 at 5pm.

For the California Symphony's biggest fundraising event of the year, we need help with checking in and out guests through our auction software Greater Giving. Greater Giving is fairly intuitive, but requires a training session prior to the event. We also need help selling raffle tickets and assisting guests with the silent auction.

About the California Symphony:
The California Symphony, now in its fifth season under the leadership of Music Director Donato Cabrera, is a world-class, professional orchestra based in Walnut Creek, in the heart of the San Francisco East Bay since 1990. Our vibrant concert series is renowned for featuring classics alongside American repertoire and works by living composers. The Orchestra is comprised of musicians who have performed with the orchestras of the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Ballet, and others, and many of its musicians have been performing with the California Symphony for nearly all its existence.
