The Ronald McDonald House Charities provides support services for critically ill children and their families. We are looking for volunteers to purchase items to assemble different program bags (i.e. toiletries, snacks, toys) that help support families at the House and hospital.

This can be done at the Ronald McDonald House Charities (group size limited to 10 or fewer) or off-site at your own location (no limit to group size). All items should be brand new and unopened. Items will also need to be packed into clear gallon Ziploc bags. Detailed information about each assembly bag volunteer opportunity will be shared with you after you've expressed interest.

All donations can be dropped off at the Ronald McDonald House Charities any day between 9 am and 9 pm.

About Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond

Location:

2330 Monument Avenue, Richmond, VA 23220, US

Mission Statement

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.

Description

It is the mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond to keep families close. RMHC Richmond may not be able to make the medicine taste better or erase the pain of a much-needed treatment, but we can help lessen the burden for thousands of families each and every year. Since we opened our doors in 1980, we have never closed them. We keep families together at our Ronald McDonald House and our Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. By providing our families with a "home-away-from-home" and a place where they can rest and refresh, we help keep families close.
