We are a 501c3 nonprofit Spay and Neuter Clinic located in Syracuse, NY.
Our mission is to reduce the pet over-population in Central New York by providing low-cost spay & neuter services for pets that belong to low-income persons, strays, shelter animals & feral cats.
This will be accomplished by having staff and volunteers work together. We currently have a need for a volunteers.
Mondays-Thursdays Between 10a-4p (in person) & Aug. 26th from 4p-9p in person (Fundraiser Event).
- Assemble blank charts for admitting animals & create 2x cage cards, assign & track sequential patient numbers, collect payments from customers, make confirmation calls, book appointments, clean the office as needed, stock supplies, assist with laundry, and clean surgical instruments.
-Sign paperwork in person then, work from home or assist with tasks on your own time.
-Write grants
-Assemble raffle baskets
-Ask local businesses for support of our annual fundraiser (donate for raffle baskets or sponsor our event)
-Volunteer at our annual fundraiser on August 26th.

It is our mission to reduce the pet overpopulation of cats and dogs in our community by providing low-cost spay and neuter services for shelter animals, rescuers, and animals belonging to low-income people.
Description
SANS is a low-cost veterinary clinic focused on a specific set of medical services in order to best serve rescue groups and people on low income who want to help cats and dogs in their community. Services include spay/neuter, vaccines, parasite treatments, and testing for heartworm, FELV, and FIV.
Volunteers will be able to serve in both education/office-type roles as well as cleaning. Volunteers do not handle animals.
