Give the gift of helping someone be more computer literate. Volunteer computer coaches assist customers on library computers with basic navigation, internet search and word processing questions. Volunteers are assisting customers as these questions occur during computer sessions. Additionally library location may choose to book 1:1 sessions when computer coaches are scheduled. This 1:1 mentoring guides a customers towards increasing computer literacy. Volunteers benefit building skills and gaining workplace experience. If you have a couple hours a week and enjoy helping people learn make a difference as a computer coach. Volunteers are needed for a two hour shift : Monday - Thursday between 9:00am - 8:30pm , Friday and Saturday 9:00am - 4:30pm,
Sunday 12:00pm - 4:30pm.

Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.

- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- Two hours each week : Mon.-Thurs between. 9:00am - 8:30pm, Fri-Sat between 9:00am - 4:30pm, Sun. between 12:00pm - 4:30pm. 6 months preferred. 3 months minimum.
- Reliable, patient, enjoys serving a diverse population, can take direction from staff and work as part of a team, effective in teaching people to be more computer literate.
