YMCA Earth Service Corps (YESC) is an innovative youth-led program that empowers students to take a hands-on role in creating a healthier environment in their schools, communities and region while nurturing a respect for diversity within the natural world. Young people in Earth Service Corps are recognized as valuable resources who collaborate with peers, teachers and community members to solve pressing environmental issues in their communities. We are always recruiting adult volunteers to support the program in various capacities. Would you like to help out at a large environmental conference that brings youth and environmental professionals together? Would you like to support youth leaders at a hands-on habitat restoration project? How about grant writing, serving on the Advisory Board, or developing curriculum? Do you have other talents you’d be willing to share with YESC?
