Compassus Hopsice is looking for Volunteers. We believe in making our
patients and their families feel like their basic needs are important.
Along with the medical, physical and day to day needs there are simple
tasks that volunteers could help do which would lighten the load. Our office
desires to maintain a high standard of getting the job done as well
as quality when it comes to engaging with our patients and their
families.
We need volunteers to do paperwork, computer work, filing, organizing
and putting together initial treatment binders.
Much of the work needed to assist the people we help is office oriented.
If you would like to help and volunteer, but need to be stationary, or
work in a office perhaps volunteering for us in this way would be what you
are interested in.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:
Compassus recognizes death as a natural part of the life cycle, and promotes pain relief and symptom management as appropriate clinical goals.
Compassus affirms life and provides hospice interventions that will seek neither to hasten death nor to postpone it.
Compassus understands that psychosocial and spiritual pain is often as significant as physical pain, and that addressing all three requires the skills of an interdisciplinary team.
Compassus believes that patients and loved ones are an integral part of our Plan of Care.

- We are considerate of our volunteers schedules. We can adapt our work schedule and your time commitment making it a workable situation for both parties.
- A two step TB test is required now for volunteers in Hospice or medical type volunteering.
