The residents of St. Aloysius Apartments are interested in taking a trip to the zoo! We have worked out the details of payment for admissions, but we are still in need of transportation. As of right now, there are only a few residents signed up to attend, but there are more who are interested but worried about transportation. I am looking for a volunteer to help us to transport residents to the zoo for a day outing. Transportation would need to be handicap accessible and accommodate a group. Ideally, a small bus or van would be desired. If you can help us out, we would love to hear from you!

Description
As a Service Coordinator, it is important that I help the residents stay active and independent. In order to do so, it is important for me to connect the residents with services and agencies in the community to help fit their needs. I try to schedule a variety of presentations and programs to visit our property to help keep the residents informed of what services are available to them and how to obtain them. The residents at St. Aloysius Apartments are very self sufficient and enjoy socializing. My goal is to make more contacts with the community and continue to bring in engaging and educational programs. It would be so wonderful to get each resident to participate in at least one program a month!
