Volunteers are needed to help with various activities at our Summer Fest open house on Saturday, July 13th.
This is a FREE community event with TONS of FUN activities and games for all ages. The Omaha Police SAFE program will display their helicopter and emergency vehicles and also offer safety demonstrations for kids and families. There will be lots of vendor booths and food trucks to visit. We're also hosting a 4:30 pm concert with Esprit de Corps, a talented high school group performing on a national tour!
We're expecting well over 2,000 people on this fun-filled day and need your help to make it a successful community event!
Volunteers can sign up to help with various activities between the hours of 10am and 5:30pm:
- Greet and direct guests
- Assist with guest registration and line management
- Inflate water balloons for the water balloon toss
- Dress in the R.J. Kroc mascot costume and mingle with guests
- Guide the R.J. Kroc mascot throughout the Kroc Center
- Assist with a variety of indoor and outdoor games
- Monitor children in the bounce houses outdoors
- Assist as a slide attendant in the Aquatics Center
- Assist in the Loft with youth activities
- Offer refreshments to guests
- Help with light clean-up
- Tear down at the end of the event (4p-5:30pm)
