CCCS is looking for volunteers as passionate about our mission as we are to work at our Savannah office location and support day-to-day operations.
We cater to our volunteers' strengths when assigning tasks; essential duties may include but are not limited to:
- Copying, organizing, and ordering financial education material
- Copying and printing marketing packets and materials
- Attending community outreach events
- Representing the organization in public meetings, community events, and community presentations
- Entering client data in database/data entry
- Welcoming clients in-person and conducting client intake
- Answering client inquiries and scheduling materials
- Scanning and shredding confidential client files and documents
- Folding, stuffing, and sending out bulk mailings
- General filing
- Assisting in various agency projects
- Other duties as assigned

Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Savannah Area, Inc. believes that all debt is manageable and that anyone can live a debt free life. Every day, we strategically create effective debt management plans for each of our clients. We offer budget, credit, debt, bankruptcy, housing, identity theft prevention and foreclosure counseling regardless of, their ability to pay. Our purpose is to increase financial knowledge, help families solve current financial problems, and achieve future goals.
Description
Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Savannah Area, Inc. (CCCS) has served 50 years as a non-profit providing financial education and counseling in the community. CCCS is one of the oldest nonprofit HUD-approved housing and budget counseling agencies in Savannah.
Since 1965, CCCS has assisted 177,927 clients by providing counseling and educational services. CCCS has also helped families from the coastal Georgia and South Carolina area repay $85,880,542.45 in debt.
It is CCCS’ mission to help families overcome financial challenges and regain a sense of financial well-being by offering professional and confidential counseling, debt management, housing counseling, mortgage help, foreclosure prevention, and consumer credit education to all segments of the community.

Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Savannah Area, Inc. is a local, nonprofit credit and housing counseling agency with the purpose of increasing the financial literacy of the community.
