Work on your own schedule packing boxes of non-perishable food at our location. Can be done individually or with a friend.
As this requires some training, we are looking for volunteers seeking a longer term involvement (not a one time or short term opportunity.)

Mission Statement
The mission of the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf & Clothing Closet is to provide emergency food assistance and clothing at no charge to residents living in Greece and Charlotte.
Description
We are an all-volunteer organization that receives food and clothing through community donations, corporate donations and Foodlink, which we distribute to people in the Greece and Charlotte areas. With more than 120 volunteers, we served 6,000 people in our last fiscal year. We are different from other local food pantries in that we both serve clients who come to our location to receive food and we deliver food to clients who cannot come to us, either due to lack of transportation or physical disability. We also have a program that serves seniors and permanently disabled persons on a monthly basis.
