Community Baby Shower
Each year, United Way Worldwide celebrates a 'Day of Action' on or around June 21. The focus of this day is to provide opportunities for volunteers, donors, and advocated to be part of solutions that make a real difference in people's lives.
Our Butler County United Way Day of Action will focus on Health by holding a "Community Baby Shower". This "Shower" is a community-wide event to collect essential baby items, providing at-risk mothers with basic supplies and support needed to give their babies a healthy start; this is critical to a baby's continued health and development. The donations will be assembled and distributed through our partner agency Butler County Educational Service Center's 'Help Me Grow' and 'Every Child Succeeds' programs.
We invite you to help us by donating supplies towards this cause. We will be collecting the following items: diapers, wipes, baby food, baby shampoo, baby lotion, onesies, baby books, diaper rash cream, grooming kits, or anything else baby related. The supplies can be donated from Wednesday, May 15, 2019 to Monday, June 17, 2019.
