CoCA, Seattle's Center on Contemporary Art

Memberships Internship now available at CoCA, Seattle's nonprofit Center on Contemporary Art! Immerse yourself in the Seattle art community as you gain valuable skills as a Memberships Intern. Hands-on, project-based experience & mentoring. 10 hrs per week over 6-12 months. Flexible scheduling.

  • Work closely with CoCA’s Executive & Artistic Director
  • Liaise directly with our Development committee & CoCA Artist Members
  • Assist with our CoCA Membership database
  • Our ideal Memberships Intern is organized & hardworking, with experience working with people & interest in learning database use.
  • We seek Interns who are accountable, inclusive, passionate about the art world, & invested in learning great communication.
Although this is an uncompensated role, school credit & numerous other benefits plus CoCA Membership & letters of recommendation are available. Seattle's Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) serves the Pacific Northwest as a catalyst and forum for the advancement, development, and understanding of Contemporary Art.

Description

CoCA has been a vital part of contemporary art in the Northwest for 38+ years. Since 1980 CoCA has operated galleries and produced events throughout the Seattle area with the goal of increasing the approachability and understanding of contemporary art, while simultaneously building a supportive and stimulating environment for artists in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
