Event Coordinator for NDLB

No Dog Left Behind is looking for a volunteer event coordinator to join our events team to help us plan and execute special events that help bring exposure to our adoptable dogs, educate event goers about our dog rescue, and raise funds for the medical care and foods for our dogs.

This position will take on the following responsibilities:
-Help maintain and update exciting calendar of all upcoming events
-Be the event lead for events
-Contact venue manager to confirm date, time and details of the event.
-Notify fosters and volunteers of event calendar and needs.
-Give event details to marketing people to advertise event
-Keep inventory of supplies and order or purchase additional - if necessary - Marketing materials, dog supplies, t-shirts etc.
-Make assignment list. Notify other volunteers of needs and assignments.

We have a busy summer planned with events in all different types of locations (breweries, pet stores, corporate locations, and more) so this will also be a fun and rewarding job! There is additional opportunities to take on more responsibilities to help with our annual gala and take lead on fundraising events.

Our Mission is to find dogs their forever family; to speak for the abused, neglected, and abandoned; to educate adopters, reduce the number of homeless, and provide proper vet care; to save those that need saving.
