Hello Tulsa Zoo Friends,

It’s time to "Let the Good Times Roar!" Volunteer for WALTZ on the Wild Side toward a Whole New Zoo.

The 29 th annual WALTZ on the Wild Side, Sponsored by Nabholz, will be on Friday, June 21st from 6:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. Guests will be whisked away to the French Quarter where they can mingle amongst Malayan tigers, snow leopards and binturongs while sampling treats from more than 40 of Tulsa’s finest restaurants. As the sun begins to set, they will make their way to the Mary K. Chapman event lodge where the party continues with live music.

Standing for "We All Love the Tulsa Zoo," WALTZ on the Wild Side benefits the zoo’s capital campaign, Building Beyond Your Wildest Dreams, which launched in 2012 to support the zoo’s 20-year master plan.

Volunteer shifts start at 6:30p.m. and end at different times ranging from 9 p.m. to just after midnight.

You will receive a complimentary dinner before your shift at 5:30 p.m. As a way to say thanks for your help, you can also come between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on June 21 st and preview the Washed Ashore Art Installation which debuts on the same day as WALTZ. All volunteers will also receive a black WALTZ volunteer t-shirt to wear during the event that you get to keep!

If you are interested and able to assist us, please email us at volunteers@tulsazoo.org.

WALTZ on the Wild Side is a 21-and-up event and you must be 21 to volunteer. (ID verification will be required)

Thank you in advance for your help and for making Tulsa Zoo great!
