Happily Ever After is growing, and we are looking for a volunteer fill the position of Maintenance and Grounds Lead at our Marion Sanctuary. Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and creating a schedule of facilities-related tasks to ensure building and equipment upkeep
• Coordinating the efforts of all volunteers on the grounds and maintenance team and ensuring task-completion including, but not limited to:
• Lawn and outdoor care
• Snow removal
• Building upkeep
• Soliciting bids from multiple agencies when necessary
• Creating and maintaining adequate parts inventory
• Managing special projects as needed

Our ideal volunteer:

• Has proven experience as a facilities manager or a similar position
• Is well-versed in technical operations and understands electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
• Is highly organized and manages time effectively

The time commitment for this position varies from week to week but will likely average 1-3 hours per week.
