Taking care of our patients' spiritual needs is a vital service Volunteers provide here at Cardinal Hill. Within our department is our part-time Chaplain who comes in daily to visit with patients and minister to their spiritual needs.
To support our Chaplain's efforts we invite volunteers to come and pray with patients; read spiritually uplifting literature with patients; assist in celebrating specific religious observances; assist patients in getting to our non-denomination Sunday Service; and bring denomination specific care to patients e.g. holy communion.
We serve a diverse patient population and so are ever looking for volunteers of diverse beliefs to come and minister to the individual patient's spiritual needs according to how they choose to worship.
