The International SeaPerch Challenge is the culminating event of the 2024 SeaPerch season and includes 174 teams from across the country and the world competing with their remotely-operated underwater vehicles in a series of real-world inspired tasks at the University of Maryland. If you like robotics, engineering, and/or exciting competitions, this is a great event for you!

We need volunteers to help make this event a success and have many different opportunities to assist:

  • Pre-Event Submission Reviewers
  • Set-up & Tear down
  • General Volunteer
  • Poolside Scorers and Time Keepers
  • Score Runners
  • Divers
  • SeaPerch ROV Repair Techs (previous SeaPerch experience required)

Description

In the next decade, 80% of jobs will require math and science skills. RoboNation was created to engage students of all ages, from kindergarten to college, in hands-on robotics activities to stimulate their interest in math and science as well as careers in unmanned systems. Explore how we fuel students’ imaginations, enhance their education, and give them a great start to a promising future.
