Volunteers work in the garden during the spring, summer and fall months ensuring the garden upkeep, planting, and cleaning as well as outdoor recreational programs for patients. Gardeners meet weekly on Tuesdays to work in the garden and offer monthly programs for patients to enjoy.
In the off season our garden crew offers gardening programs on the units to encourage patients to enjoy nature. This position lends opportunities for volunteers to lead programs; assist patients in getting out to the garden to enjoy the fresh air; plant and design unique garden landscapes and beds.
