Concert for a Cure: Supporting Bone Marrow Transplant for Jeremy Allen

The Simi Town Center is rallying to help a local family to raise funds for their young son' Bone Marrow transplant. Jeremy is a toddler in Simi Valley, CA, who was born with two potentially fatal diseases. He has low T cells (weak immune system) and doesn’t make red blood cells. There will be a free concert featuring the phenomenal Beatles tribute band Ticket to Ride and will also include a performance by the Simi-Rat Pack. There will be a raffle, prizes, food, and a DKMS bone marrow/stem cell registry drive!

We are seeking volunteers to help at the bone marrow/stem cell registration table where you will help to add people to the national registry. Registration is simple and involves filling out a registration form and completing a set of cheek swabs. Those who register will be put onto a national registry where they will have a 1% chance to match up to a blood cancer or disease patient in need of a stem cell or bone marrow transplant.
