TEENS - spend this summer playing with horses and helping kids
16 people are interested
Do you like animals? Want to spend this summer helping special needs kids ride horses? You don't need any experience. If you are willing to learn and get a little dirty, we'd love to have your help. Join us at our next volunteer orientation on June 3rd and you'll be qualified to work as a Sidewalker, walking with our students while they ride, helping them play games and complete challenges on horseback. If you're really interested in horses, you can attend an additional training to learn how to care for and control the horse during the lesson as a Leader. We do operate year-round and can offer you afterschool hours if you decide to continue service during the school year. All you need is a volunteer application signed by your parents, a pair of sturdy shoes you don't care about and some comfy jeans. When you respond to this post, we'll send you detailed information about the training.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
