We need a dedicated group of volunteers that can commit to at least several sessions of STRIKE FORCE this year. Let's make it a fun and informative way to learn more about the challenges facing the restoration of native habitat in our area.

STRIKE FORCE will meet on the following Wednesday mornings 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM:

April 8 May 6 May 20

June 3 June 17 July 1 July 15

The following Saturday dates are also be available from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM:

May 9 June 6 July 11

*Additional dates will be added for August-October.*

Each session will target a particular invasive species in a designated area. As the season progresses, the target species will change, depending on its particular growth habit and seed production. Specific techniques for removal will also vary accordingly. Guidance and training will be available to you -- there is a lot to learn -- and you can expect to build your expertise in identification and removal techniques very quickly.

Join our team. Build your knowledge. Do your part in helping with Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve's mission to protect native plants.
