Butterfly Garden Milkweed

KNCB needs volunteers who would like work in the Park Circle Butterfly Garden during the week. We have morning and afternoon shifts available Monday - Thursday from 7am- 4pm. Volunteers will be deadheading flowers, installing newspapers and pinestraw in the garden, removing aphids from the Milkweek, watering, cleaning tables and chairs, sweeping, and other garden-related tasks.

Volunteers will learn about gardening and meet others interested in gardening. This is a great opportunity to help the environment while volunteering outside in the garden.

On volunteer days, please be sure to dress comfortably for outside. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring needs items with you such as a hat, sunscreen, or bug spray, we have bottled water in our office along with a water cooler for your refillable bottles.

If you have any questions prior to volunteering, please feel free to email our office at or call at 843-745-1073.

I look forward to hearing from you and working with you.
