Come along and create warm, colourful wool beanies for babies in Nepal in rural areas in 2 hours.
No knitting skills? No worries! Many children in Nepalese hospitals do not have adequate clothing to keep them warm in the alpine conditions - that's where you come in! We've sent much love from all our volunteers to young babies in Nepal.
* How can I help?
We're loom-knitting beanies for babies in Nepal; all it takes is a little practise, and you'll have an adorable beanie ready to send to Nepal in no time! If you're eager to start right away, then check out this link (which helped us learn) to get you started:

"What do I need to bring?" I hear you ask?
Nothing but your awesome self! We'll provide all the looms and wool you'll need. And if you already love knitting, feel free to bring along your own knitting needles/loom/wool, and snacks to nibble on. We're partnered with: Journey Nepal ( http://www.journey-ne... We're for people who want to meet passionate volunteers, and engage in fun activities whilst doing good via direct action. The micro-volunteering causes we currently support include the environment, children, disaster response, and the disadvantaged amongst our community; through partners such as Send Kids the World, Journey Nepal, ACV, Spires, and Be Enriched.
Join us to take direct action on causes you care about. Meet passionate volunteers like yourself. Contribute from home, or meet us in cafes and public places to write, knit, plant, learn and teach together, and make doing good a daily habit.
