Details
Colouring-in for adults is a popular and proven way to improve mental well-being and is something that will be beneficial for those who face difficult challenges in their daily lives.

This project is all about creating adult colouring in sheets so that the users of Spires can go into the shelter and participate in something calm and relaxing to take them away from life on the streets.

What do you need to bring? Just your awesome self; all materials are provided (but you're welcome to bring your own resources too!).

We've partnered with Spires, a South London based charity that helps hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged people all year round. More information can be found about what they do on the website: http://www.spires.org

Hope to see you there! We will be in the Shared Learning - 471 in the Austin Central Library!!

Mission Statement

Cause Corps is an incredibly successful international organization, that is trying to revolutionize the idea of volunteering, and making doing good as automatic, easy, and as barrier free as brushing your teeth (http://www.causecorps.co) through performing small and direct acts of good.

Description

We're for people who want to meet passionate volunteers, and engage in fun activities whilst doing good via direct action. The micro-volunteering causes we currently support include the environment, children, disaster response, and the disadvantaged amongst our community; through partners such as Send Kids the World, Journey Nepal, ACV, Spires, and Be Enriched.

Join us to take direct action on causes you care about. Meet passionate volunteers like yourself. Contribute from home, or meet us in cafes and public places to write, knit, plant, learn and teach together, and make doing good a daily habit.
