ORGANIZATION: San Mateo County Library - San Carlos Library

Our Checkmate volunteer would be needed every Saturday, from 10:30am to 12:30pm, to teach children in 1st grade and up to play chess. Chess sets are provided for the volunteer to set up, and then put away.
The volunteer should be 18 and over, and be at an intermediate level to teach the children.
Before becoming a volunteer, fingerprinting needs to be approved, at no cost to the person
