The Planning Lead provides leadership to Disaster Cycle Services workers in performing Information Planning activities during preparedness, response, and recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Gathers assessment and operational data required for effective management of a response, including information about the scope of the disaster and the effectiveness of the response
- Provides operational planning support in both Blue Sky and Gray to Region leadership and local chapters/territories.
- Serve as a Red Cross subject matter expert in Information Planning program guidance and tools.
- Envisions a team’s impact in Mass Care and inspire the team into action.
