Our clinician's need your TRANSLATOR SKILLS to assist older adults remain safe and independent in their homes. If you, or someone you know, understand and speak Hindi and/or Gurjurati, then please let us know. You will accompany a KYC clinician to a client's home and work with both the client and the clinician to make sure their needs are being communicated properly.

Kenneth Young Center (KYC) is a safety net for our neighbors in need. By providing community mental health and older adult programs, we respectfully serve the most vulnerable people in our area, those coping with mental illness and older adults dealing with life's difficult transitions.

This is a great opportunity to positively influence another's life. Scheduling is flexible and done during the normal business week (Mondays through Fridays by appointment). You can expect meetings to last about one to two hours. We will work with you to arrange appointment times!

(KYC is a behavioral health and older adult services serving Elk Grove and Schaumburg Townships and the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.
