We are looking for a caring and committed individual to help us create videos that will become part of a "mini YouTube reality show" highlighting the progress of teams that are included in the SoulDeevas' Performing Arts Company. As of now, we have majorette and step teams operating in New York and New Jersey and this September, we will be adding a cheerleading team and a hip-hop dance team. Our programs include young ladies (ages K to 12).

The purpose of the project is two-fold - to chronicle the progress of these new teams and to teach the girls about the discipline, professionalism and grit needed to do a public documentary.

We need a videographer to videotape the girls as they audition, practice, perform and compete (and we can develop a schedule of when and how tapings would happen) and produce something professional that they can be proud of. The videographer will get full "producer" credit for his/her work. Though it is meant to be an "internal" project that will be posted on YouTube, there is greater potential depending on how the project progresses.

The girls' season begins again in mid-September and all tapings would be done on a Saturday. There is a potential for flexibility if given notice. They currently practice in Midtown Manhattan, but other locations are also a possibility depending on what we're taping. We want it to be a very big deal for the girls so the more creative you can be - the better!!!
