ORGANIZATION: Dignity Health Connected Living

The volunteer roles and responsibilities are as follows;

· Greet visitors, patients and their families

· Assist admitting department in admitting procedure

· Deliver patient charts to various locations

· Deliver mail and flowers to patients and appropriate reading material as requested

· Deliver and/or mail surgery schedules each morning

· Escort admitted patients to their rooms as requested

· Wheel patients out as requested by nurses/staff

· Assemble charts and perform tasks/light clerical work as requested by hospital personnel.

· Check patient waiting room in rounds, approximately every ½ hour.

· Answer phones

· Provide outstanding Customer Service
